Corporate Ethics

We run our business with integrity and openness, within clearly defined business principals and policies, in line with the policies of our parent Company. We aim to employ the highest business and personal standards when dealing with our employees, customers, suppliers and our environment.

Our Health and Safety Commitment

Our business involves the warehousing and movement of industrial metals and soft commodities on a large scale. This requires us to maintain the highest standards in health and safety practice to ensure the well being of our employees and the people who work along side us at all times. By continually re-assessing, managing and auditing our health & safety policy and training programs, and positively influencing those around us, we strive for a safer working environment.

In 2014, Henry Bath proudly announced the global certification of our warehousing operations to the OHSAS 18001 standard as determined by Bureau Veritas. This certification demonstrates that Health and Safety continues to be a high priority for Henry Bath and provides validation of our operational capabilities and customer service. Our Environmental Commitment

Henry Bath believes in treating the earth's resources with respect. We are committed to protecting and conserving the environment, and the health and safety of our employees, our customers and the diverse communities in which we operate. We also make it a priority to work together with customers, with our suppliers and with local authorities to protect our environment.

We continue to identify waste streams in our business that we can recycle, including:

  • old hessian bags from storing cocoa & coffee beans are recycled to manufacture backing fabric in carpets
  • broken steel strapping used to secure bundles of metals are recycled as steel scrap

From our international head office on the world-famous Liverpool waterfront, Henry Bath and Son Ltd has been putting environmental awareness at the forefront of our global operations. We continue to develop our Environmental Management System, continually building on our experience and sharing our learnt best practice worldwide across all of our operations.
