Our journey towards achieving a carbon neutral warehousing system has begun. We have been working with the Climate Neutral Group to asses and measure our GHG emissions and to develop improvement programs in all regions focused on reducing emissions, increasing recycling and reducing waste. We are looking at new technologies and initiatives to replace existing fossil fuels with more renewable energy sources such as wind and solar.
The Henry Bath heritage has been built over generations and continues to guide our actions today. We will continue to act in a socially responsible and ethical manner. We intend to be an early adopter for this in our industry to play our part for generations to come.
Our GHG emissions will be measured annually and independently certified. We are working towards carbon neutrality certification and have a carbon reduction plan in place. Each year we will look to improve our environmental practises striving for net 0 by 2050.
