During June 2024, A delegation of Henry Bath and CMST senior management teams met during a visit to Shanghai, focusing on collaboration with industry partners and international customers. A key focus was to continue to strengthen our relationship with CMST to enhance our market opportunities and business partnership.

The Henry Bath team, along with Mr Wang Haibin, our Co Group General Manager, where able to visit the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), welcomed by Mr Wang Fenghai, General Manager of SHFE, and further joined by leaders of the Shanghai Commodity Warehouse Receipt Registration Committee. The lively discussions focused on promoting international cooperation, collaboration, and exploring prospects across international markets. Mr. Wang Fenghai kindly outlined SHFE's plans to become a world-class exchange, driven by the successful listing of international varieties and business growth

Group CFO, Paul Wynne provided updates on Henry Bath’s progress since his last visit in 2019 and Peter Marc Waszkis, Co Group General Manager of Henry Bath, expressed a strong desire to strengthen ties with SHFE and collaborate on exploring new overseas markets and warehousing options.

It was noted that Henry Bath would continue to support SHFE in expanding internationally and enhancing its delivery function and to continue to build and promote our China link and identify future global opportunities.
